Ya ever get a chance, Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley, NC
Does anyone remember what paint option was this from around 2017-2019? I can't find them anywhere on cycle trader.
Is it an M8?
What is the depreciation like on one of these? I wouldn't mind experiencing it for a year.
Not an M8 - can't speak to the other items
how can ya tell on the left side? If it is 2017-2019 it is an M8.
I would assume it's a CVO model from the paint.
Here's a video that looks similar. Says 2018 Street Glide Special - Custom Paint Set with a run of 150.
That's it thank you. I remember it being a $3-5k option on the builder section on the website. It wasn't just the paint option, it came with those special wheels as well. I wish more Harleys came with those special paint schemes.
I've been looking for an Road Glide Ultra which may be why I could not find any, but I think the one on the HD site at the time was also an Ultra.
"Custom paint set". That should help with the search. Pretty sure it was not listed as CVO.
Okay it's known as the Boss paint set
$6600 option, the tour pak an additional $1700. 13 hour book time.
Piece by piece install. I'm guessing the chopped your pack is a half size of the regular top case and back rest.
M8 is dual spark, coil has four leads, two per cylinder. I (wrongly) assumed that I would be able to see it from the left (you can on softails).
That blue bike is 100% an M8
Rented this Ultra Limited when we were on the big island of Hawaii. Unfortunately it rained like hell on us during our visit on the east side of the island but we still had fun and the bike is wifey approved.
Got the Heathers Leathers seat on my bike. Wayne did a great job, it is a quality piece. Its super comfortable but does lower the seat height by an inch or inch and a half. Thats not a bad thing for most but I prefer it tall, I might figure out a spacer to get some height back. The seat itself is a work of art and I am very happy with it. I removed the Harley Davidson lettering that I had made for the bags since that pic, it was getting a little too busy. The bar and shield logo I made for the fairing is probably coming off next.
That is the second mention of Heathers Leathers with some really nice work on police saddles.
If you got a link please share.
Yes JRowland turned me on to them.
That is one great looking motorcycle, to me neither the logo nor the bag lettering detracts, but I'm sure it will also look great w/o them
That looks awesome to me, I wish I could ride mine like that.
^^^ I totally agree.
It was a lovely afternoon here today.
