Here’s a side view. It touches. I was able to easily use a sissybar mounted bag on the ride to Durango. A strap will pass underneath. The seat is a diamond-stitched Mustang Super Touring Solo, with Mustang Passenger Seat and Backrest and Rider Backrest that the original owner had modified a wee bit. Passenger backrest goes on and off easily. Rider backrest works spiffy.

Starting the day well before sunrise, temps in the upper 40s. Balaclava, neck scarf, vents closed on the 'stich, off we go:ricky

100 miles of dense fog at freeway speed, double brrr, pulled up on a hill to contemplate letting the sun come up and burn off the fog. 600 mile day, no time for such foolishness.

Another 100 mi and the fog has gotten thicker, at least a more leisurely pace off of the freeway.

    Puttin' around.
Also if anyone wants to buy a Saddlemen explorer seat for an 18 and up softail hit me up.
The passenger part of the seat is too wide to fit with my sissy bar. Gonna go with a step up seat with gel-core.

Anyone done LED turn signals? Trying to decide between RRI or Crossthread Cycle 20210902_191058.jpg

I did Custom Dynamics yellow LED. They were drop-in fit in the OEM pods.

I had considered the white running / yellow turning combo lights. But after looking at my bike with stock yellow running lights, I think the yellow lights stand out more in the sea of white LED lights out on the road.

    Thats a good point.
I looked into the HD LED signals but just for the front is $167 at the dealer.
Toss up between the rri and crossthread. The crossthread has front and rear signals but the RRI look brighter?
