More great pics of that sweet bike and lovely countryside. I think that red color might even be better looking than the way cool white ones:thumb

New seat day and got some new bars to fit up. Hopefully will be a bit more comfortable to ride.

I'm getting ready to put on the bars you are taking off. :-)

My Road King came with Heritage style bars, I want bars with more pullback and a more traditional look.

Hi mate, yeah, I gave the bike a few months worth of riding before I decided I need to change them. My wrists don't like the sweep on the stock bars, I changed the bars in my Fatboy for the same reason. I end up with my palm on top of the grips to try and alleviate the discomfort. And my lower back is a bit screwed up as well and hoping the seat gives me a bit more support. Will see how it all pans out.

A quick ride tells me the bars are a much nicer bend and feel, and the seat feels a little taller and is quiet comfortable, hope the wife likes it:lol3.

A retrospective of "The Year of Covid, 2020"... with the exception of the first pict and me at High Tea in Victoria, all where shot while touring on my bike in 2020 with my iPhone... I did a lot of BC including the ferry from Vancouver Island to Prince Rupert and the National Parks in Banff, I even got up to the Mica Creek and Hudson Hope dam's... 10,000 or so miles for the year, which is lite for me... this year will be even worse... but, if that damn border opens up, I will be South Bound as soon as I can next year for a nice jaunt...

I bought the tallboy version so my seating position keeps me a bit more upright. I have lower back issues too, I hope some of that will be alleviated when the new hip is installed in November.

Finally had enough time to tear into the 01 king to get it ready for next weeks trip down to tennessee. First thing first, strip her down and remove the god awful beach bars.

While I was taking care of that. A friend of mine removed the rear wheel and and had two new tires installed. We also tore into the cam chest and by the looks of it, not a second too soon.

New cam bearings and tensioner shoes installed, final piece to install was the progressive stabilizer link. All that’s left is to ride it make sure it’s up to snuff!

New cam bearings and tensioner shoes installed,

Yes, not a moment too soon! How many miles were on the OEM tensioner shoes?

That's about right. I recommend customers take a look at 30K. As well as upgrade to the '07+ tensioners.
