    Those 2-pot Brembo calipers are pretty decent I had them on 2 big thumpers they stop loaded bike from 90mph on single 300mm disk no prob. BMW G650, SWM Superdual, IIRC KTM 690 has one too.

    I liked the Pegaso 650 while I had it but it was wrong for what I wanted

    Must admit - this was the easiest Alpine I ever did - was a very sure-footed bike in any conditions

    Now if the fuel is under the seat and the airfilter has easy access from where the fuel filler is usually located, and it`s 180 kg, and rims are not KTM butter steel, and pipes are redesigned or at least a decent alloy bashplate is stock, and front brake lines are redesigned so if ridden through a bit of mud it dosnt throw you over the bars, And......GET RID OF THAT MUFFLER, and develop a decent dealer network,.............. it might stand a chance.
    That said from a happy aprilia owner.
