Your pics are getting interesting again! Took the high road for Rad. The magic string will reward that good behavior...

Hi Ed, great traveling and a great RR. I suggest you change the writing on the skull to "Cazador de Unicuernos". Perhaps that increases your success rate :jack

Double ouch Ed. Maybe it’s time to face reality and in true AdvRider tradition ask these young gals about their mom’s situation. Lol

It look like same Hostel that you are staying at as I did 2 years ago, always find it interesting when I see this as you would think that the world is so big but finding hostel with parking on iOverland and everybody end up staying at the same place

    All very funny comments.
But I am Hunting Unicorns ..... not Cougars.
    Lol

So far my hunting skills have failed to flush out any unicorns but still enjoying the Edventure with or without them.

But like a good novel, I am hoping to set the scene where the protagonist has done nothing but fail and then stumbles upon a unicorn when he isn't even looking......could happen you know

And if not.....bring on the Cougars!!!!

My ADV crystal ball predicts exactly this!

I've noticed during your years of travel, that you're always dressed for the occasion. How many clothes do you pack?
Remembering "Crashmaster's" excellent trip and report, he only took two shirts. Practical, but the pics suffered some...:lol3

"Crashmaster's" RR was the first one I ever read, very entertaining.

Seems most ADV inmates are looking for some kinda unicorn.

Ps Jamie Z is looking for some Mitas E08 input in his RR.

I could not find a unicorn in Oaxaca
So I went in search it's sad replacement......alcohol
Trying to find a good beer.
    I think I succeeded

    20210112_140858.jpg

My Spanish is improving every day but it is still not enough to warn me to stay away from this beer. The name itself reads like a warning label......"me vez Sufres". Which means, "see me suffer". I mean, how much habanero pepper belongs in a beer????? I need a Corona just to put the fire out in my mouth......jajaja

sorry to revert to the booze advise section: next time you are in Jalisco, try Raicilla. similar to tequila but quite different.
AND: do not miss out on Pulque! it's a slightly fermented low alcohol agave drink, kind of milky looking. it's often sold by street vendors, sometimes in bars. you cannot buy in bottles as it has to be served fresh. just like the doctor prescribed for after long ride on a hot day!

No habanero belongs in beer IMHO, only beer. I do love a good barley wine however. And nothing wrong with cougars. They could be unicorns.

I will admit to loving a good green chili beer however. With a good green sauce enchilada, mmm.
