I hear Mexico City is nice but with Covid-19, many things are closed. In fact, Rad and I were planning to hike up Mexico's 2nd highest mountain this week but the National park is closed. I am guessing the hit springs will also be closed.
Many of the girls are scared to meet and come out of there houses.
So I am not sure where to go in these crazy times

If you go to Mexico City, go see my bud Rafa at his little bakery/coffee shop. He's making the best baked goods in mexico possibly. Great coffee too. Roma is fun neighborhood Screenshot_20210208-131145.png

Don't know quite where you are now, since your last posts were about catching up on the RR. It seems you're on the edge of the Yucatan, the home of beaches and cenotes. You can do a circumnavigation of the Yucatan, much of it sparsely populated except for the Riviera Maya. Laguna Bacalar are beautiful freshwater lakes that look like the Caribbean. Tulum had lots of travelers on the cheap from all over the world, pre-Covid.

Seems odd as it's outdoors and easily distanced.
I'm sure you will find the next page of this edventure shortly.

Ed - you gotta fill us in about Guadalajara more than just "met a girl and it didn't work out". She was a babe - but that's par for the course. Give us all the juicy /humiliating details! Did you goof and forget to hide the reading glasses? Did she find out that you are not 38 like the profile? My guess is that something else happened.

Now they we've been taught to live like hermits, it's tough to mingle.
They're setting up "Hug tents" for the elderly. Maybe something for the younger crowd could work...

The thing is, I dont "have to" fill anyone in on the juicy and humbling details.
I think some people lose sight of that fact.
But I will fill everyone else on this.....
Triple J called me yesterday. He is definitely in my Inner Circle so I shared the stories with him and sent videos and photos. and now he is just stirring the pot wanting me to spill the beans to everyone because the stories are pretty juicy.
Out of respect to the others involved, I am hesitant to say too much.
    But I will say this
The Mexican girl that I flew there to meet didn't feel the chemistry. It's ok, it happens. She was a smart girl and probably realized that I only came to get my passport stamped.
The Russian and I are still talking and I hope to see her again.
But here is the thing I have learned......
I am not going out of my way to meet a girl again. If they work in to my schedule and route, then ok.
They have a saying about not bringing sand to the beach.
But I have a new saying.....
Don't have to go to the beach for the sand when there is already plenty of sand around you.
Right now I am in the city of Oaxaca with this guy.....Pinche Rad.
    IMG_20210206_180515_501.jpg
I am playing in the sand box here.
Sorry for not sharing all the juicy details publicly on Advrider. I think you understand. And besides, this a motorcycle forum and I am sure no one wants to hear stories about the frolicking with unicorns, menage a trois and the Spanish lesbians......unless you are in the Inner Circke ......like you Triple J.

We don’t need your RR ending up in the basement. We can use our imaginations about frolicking if we need too.

Something's are best left unsaid, especially something like relationships. I can imagine some girls will be reading your Ride Reports on ADV and enjoying the banter and EdyouRadificational Mexicali'a 101 when her name pops up. Could be a bad thing :)

Wow, that hurts, Ed. I've been following this "Edventure" almost since day number 1.
All the highs and lows, ups and downs, ins and outs, goods and bads, rights and wrongs, pukes and shits, Kathe's, Tam's, and Joop's and twins, and everything in between. Now all the sudden this $hit is about motorcycles?
Think back, Ed, it's never been about motorcycles.
    Haha! Just razing you!
I've enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us over the years. Y'all be safe out there.

Discretion is the better part of valor, or honor, or something. This ain’t the Penthouse Forum. Those of a certain age will get the reference.

This is definitely one of my favorite States in Mexico........Oaxaca.
And we are in the City of Oaxaca now
    Not too big
    Not too small
    The weather is perfect
    No rain
    Warm days
    Cool nights
    Surrounded by beautiful mountains
Some of the best beaches with warm water on the coast
    Good food
And cheaper than many other states here.
