Waypoint SE40 St. Killians Lake Geneva

This cemetery and church has been the victim of serious paranormal activity. The church was burnt down about ten to twenty years ago due to the building being very dangerous. Before the fire department burned it down there was reported sightings of a ghost of a priest.



There are confirmed stories of the basement being used for devil worship.



There have been numerous sightings, noises, shadows, footsteps following you, and a bell ringing among many strange noises. The bell when heard is as if from the church tower or a nearby house although the church is no longer there.



Mists appear around the tombstones often and while some smells are unexplained, it is believed that some come from the strong smell of the swamp. All that aside it is a terrifying and haunting place to be in.

Waypoint SE36 Pauper Cemetery Kenosha

People say the ground is giving way because the wooden coffins that the unknown are buried in are rotting away.



People report that at night you can hear the moans and sighs of the unknown and un-named John and Jane Does that died alone, without anyone to claim their bodies or mark their last resting place.

Waypoint SE38 Walworth Elementary Walworth

It is said that a janitor that fell down the steps to the boiler room and died haunts the school.



He doesn't harm anyone, but doesn't know how to leave the school.

Waypoint SE12 Beaver Dam Community Theater Beaver Dam

One night a young girl was trying out for a play and did not make it. The story is that she then went up to the loft of the theater, made a noose, and hung herself.



Sometimes when people go up there a light goes out and they hear footsteps on the stairs and a girl crying.

Waypoint FV01 Appleton Curling Club Appleton

Disembodied footsteps are regularly reported in the upper floors of the Appleton Curling Club.



In the pub, employees have reported that glasses and chairs are often knocked over or moved by an unseen force.

Waypoint FV04 Zuelke BUilding Appleton

The Zuelke Building opened in 1932. At 168 feet, it was the tallest building in Appleton until 1952.



The cleaning crew reports ghostly activity while they are working late at night. One worker reported that he was sweeping a stairwell when he felt a tap on his shoulder. When he turned around he saw half a body and a hand disappear into the wall.



During a reception, a pianist was hired to paly on the balcony of the second floor. When the musician took a break, all the elevators in the building stopped working. As soon as the musician started playing again, the elevators began to move. Irv Zuelke was a music lover and pianist. Many people credit him for the elevator incident.

Waypoint FV20 Secura Insurance Appleton

The story is that over 100 years ago, before the Secura Building was on this land, there was a pond here. They installed narrow pipes to handle the water.



Stories say that a little girl who was with her parents on a picnic fell into the pond got stuck in one of the pipes and drowned. People say that to this very day on certain nights if you walk by the pond where the little girl drowned you can hear her cries and her parent’s frantic screams.

Waypoint FV13 New Moon Café Oshkosh

This place is supposed to be haunted by several ghosts of people that passed away during the Great Oshkosh Fire.



People who work there have reported encountering the apparition of a young man while going downstairs. The young man appears to be dressed in a bellboy uniform.



Others report the ghost of an elderly woman in the main lobby. People believe the woman died in the fire. When she is seen, she is well dressed and has a sophisticated manner. Mysterious voices and noise have also been heard.

Waypoint FV14 Riverside Cemetery Oshkosh
Someone reported seeing a small child, maybe five years old and wearing a party dress, in the cemetery without shoes or a coat. The kid looked directly at the person and waved. The witness looked around for the kid's parents but no one was at the cemetery.



When the witness turned back to look at the girl she was gone. He looked around the cemetery for a bit to no avail.



About three days later the girl appeared to the witness in a dream. She told him her name was Clara.



Some ghost hunters brought a psychic to the cemetery. The psychic was unaware of this event, but reported sensing the presence and movement of the ghosts of children.

Waypoint FV15 Starseed Oshkosh

The place is said to be haunted by a young child who died there. The kid was playing with a ball when he fell down the stairs and died. A psychic that visited the place sensed that a kid died in the building and that several other spirits inhabit the place.



Foot steps are heard upstairs when no one is there and lights turn off and on by themselves. Staff and customers report sightings of a phantom cat on the premises. Sometimes it is near where the child died and sometimes it is racing around until it disappears into thin air. Sometimes children that visit the building have mentioned playing with a child there when no other children were present. The staff reports seeing apparitions in the building.

Waypoint FV19 Huntley Elementary Appleton

There was a kid named "Marky" who worked, or was believed to work for the Mob in the late 20's. He had a screaming fit about the color purple, and has apparently been spotted by early teen's trying to pick them up (girls and guys).

Apparently Marky roams the hallways.




There have been stories in the paper about him, nevertheless he remains a ghost to the surrounding city folk because they know of him, and his past.



Neighbors won't go near his old house, because he's said to still live in the basement. Every once in a while he's seen at night throwing fits, and convulsing & muttering something about the Mob bosses that he used to work for.

Waypoint FV18 Dairy Queen Appleton

Used to be a bar here.



The place is built on top of the old bar site.



Employees report some odd goings on that they attribute to the place being haunted. Lights go on and off, there are strange noises, and other manipulations that they attribute to ghosts.

I think it is you that haunts the other DQ.

Waypoint FV 16 Menasha High School Menasha

Tunnels were built in the 1940's connecting Butte Des Morts school and Menasha HS together in case of a nuclear attack.



During a school drill four kids got locked in the tunnel while trying to ditch school.



You can hear them screaming, pounding on the doors, and yelling for help.

Story goes it was about 100 years ago when a groom was thrown from the carriage on the way to his wedding and died when he was caught in a tree, strangling on his bow tie.



They say on certain nights, you can still see him hanging there.
