save20a = $20 coupon code.
backordered but basspro gets em quick.
i think the price is through the end of the month.
also REI will have the unit for $199 21-31st of this month.
if you need it know and want to spend alittle more on tax and are not apposed to shopping at rei.
i have no idea why this also showed up & i can't nuke it.
Wow thats a good price. Excellent gps.
Wow, you just saved me $100. I picked my 60csx up today and Eastern Mountain Sports matched the online price. Awesome!
got a note it shipped today.
Thanks eakins for the BPS sale link and the promo link I also have a 60csx on the way
Got mine three days ago.
Hey, eakins, i hate you.
I didn't know i needed a new GPS, but now i have one. Went and picked it up at the local Bass Pro myself. The counter workers couldn't believe they were marked down that low. Took a few managers to finally get it up in the computer. Thanks!
no problem man.
enjoy. that really is an unreal price.
i guess to garmin the 60csx is moving into old tech, on the way out gps technology (i'm assuming a spiff to these retailers from garmin OR maybe it's just a reseller thing), but for us adv riders it's perfect. i hope more people jump on this deal before the months end.
So I'm going to guess that the 62S and 62ST showing on the BassPro site is the new NT replacement for the 60 series?
looks that way. that wasn't showing before and explains the price drop.
looks like the 62st is the 62s with included topo for $100. and thus only 1gb of internal memory available vrs the 62s which has 1.8gb available.
does look like a nice unit with better screen & i assume faster processor.
i'm still happy to get the 60csx for 1/2 the price.
I think this is new technology compared to my other GPS a Garmin 2610...
Muchas gracias OP. I'm all over that deal.
I had a 60Cx and Oregon at the same time for a bit...
The biggest negative of the Oregon is the touch screen. Both in it's relatively primitive implementation (compared to any modern smart phone for example) and some readability issues in sunlight.
But the screen resolution was so much better, (coupled with so many other incremental improvements mostly in firmware that Garmin never migrated to the 60 series) that I decided to keep the Oregon over the 60.
Looks like the new 62 is higher res, presumably has the latest firmware advantages, without the touchscreen. Might be a winner! $200 for a 60CSx isn't too bad though. Amazon had the 60CX for that price a few times in the recent past. Since I already have the topo's, it's pretty much a wash between the CS and CSX.
Just to piggyback on this topic, Cabela's has a bundle that throws in a case and 100K topo DVD for $220 right now. Too bad my computer's so old it doesn't even have a DVD drive.
eidt: And now it's out of stock at both Cabela's and BPS anyway, so nvm...
