Hey, it's great to hear from KW! All healed up and ready for more?
Oh I figure that next year I will be ready to do at least the HOW and one other of your routes.
Looks like everything will be in place for a good 3-4 week run or so. I am going to add another partial joint to the list.
I am a walking jigsaw puzzle, as I heard once, "Ladies and Gentlemen here we have the perfect example of what happens when Superman's powers fade. He just keeps showing up with issues and we keep fixing them, then we send him back out in the world to do something else and ruin our good work."
That was from my main bone/joint Dr. to his students----depressing huh? LOL.
I just smile and keep plugging along. I have not forgot about owing that bottle of handpicked Bourbon and some more coffee from down here. All you need to supply is a good place to make some when I get up yonder.
We will share a great sunset somewhere, with a Bourbon Toast and a cup of Community.
Later Big Man,
Sounds like you're almost a new man, KW! You bring the bourbon and coffee; I'll bring a squirt can of 3-in-1 oil to keep you running loose and rust-free ...
TIN MAN UNDERSTANDS____
I am trying to get them to install some grease fittings too... would save a lot of hassle.
So how do I go about purchasing the route and getting more information? I looked at the website but not much info there.
Lot of Info on page 1 here, plus lots of pics of what you might see along the way!
Yeah read a couple pages, but wasn't about to read all 79, at least i don't have time for that at the moment.
Might have some time in September to do some riding and the HOW route looks a good contender.
Great time of year to do it.
So sorry for the silence! I'm in the mtns.of northern Idaho working on routing for a couple of custom-routing clients. I barely got a signal a moment ago.
Have a look at my blog site:
Much info there. But I'll be back in home port soon, and shall be happy to respond more fully with a proper keyboard ...
Thanks for checking in!
No worries at all! Look forward to speaking with you when you get back.
Didn't make it through all the posts yet. I did talk with Tony yesterday and purchased the route. I will have to say the level of detail of the tracks/waypoints, the included nearly 50 page guide is all super impressive. Totally worth the money for what you are getting, you can tell there is a lot of time and love put into the route.
Cannot wait to go ride it in September!
Thank you, Chrisnack. And welcome aboard Heart of the West Adventure Route!
You have homework galore now ... And more is coming!! For your H.o.W. Map Pack is in the mail -- with the new poster-size, highly detailed folded-paper map produced in partnership with Benchmark Maps, the leading publisher of recreation and travel maps and atlases.
Friends, it is September. The weather is cool, clear, dry and bug-free. And there is time yet to do this before the snow flies ...
If you really cared, you'd give him/her/them something really special ...
Now if there was only someone out there that thinks I'm that special. Looks like a great gift idea.
Merry Christmas Tony
and many many more adventures for you
Same 2 U, KW, and to all of my Southern friends!
I must be missing something I cannot see how to order the routes book?
