Nice bike Mike.....looks like a diamond in the rough. It's about 0430 and I'm off through the Kiber Pass today to Jalalabad. Chow hall isn't open so I'm gonna grab a hand full of grapes and a few apples. Water and MREs are in the cages in case there's no McDonalds on the way (fat chance).
Should be interesting.....sure wish I was doing it on my GS. Unfortunately, all the motorpool had was a couple of up-armored Land Cruisers. I'll take some pics for you gruvers.

I was going to put this in ride reports but i'll just put it here instead.

This is it after 3weeks of anticipation and a call to Fighters Limo Service. My fly-n-ride/Grandpa Tour starts now! May I take your bags SIR!
Its been three years sents Ive gotten to fly and theyve remodeled the airport, am walking around in there like a camera toting Japanese tourist trying to get a boarding pass you know the look. They changed the way you get tickets now you go up to a computer screen punch in your codes and your good-to-go, I havent done this before it was an adventure just to get a boarding pass.

I board the Hut Bus to Salem a nice uneventful morning ride down I-5
Finely I reach my ride for the next 15 days. Piaa lights, Touratech bags, Bagster Bra & Tank Bag, stickered -up NICE.
Add some more goodies fastways, tires, gps, Kildala Skid Plate
And Am Good-To-Go

WOW that was nice
Awesome road shots! Hacky, you're a master of the moto image! I like the composition with the fence in the mirror and glad I didn't have to partake of the compost(ion) farm shot.
Headed west on Hwy.20. About 5 miles turned left onto NF 2672 which is this road.
It was getting dark and I had to get to Roseburg so I high tailed it to Hwy 126 and down I-5.

When you posted these, I thought, 'damn, looks like riding on the coastal trail out past Woranzof, & my street is nothin but mud.'
