I was riding down the 101 the first week I got my new 1200 GSA Adv and I came up on a pack of Harleys with guys wearing Hells Angels jackets. The 101 is 2 lanes here and there was a car with them in the left lane and they were taking the right lane. I suspected the car was with them, a lady was driving it. It was difficult to pass them because of how they were hogging the lanes. When I finally got an opportunity to pass them I put a little distance between myself and them and then they put on the gas, passed me and cut me off and they again began their manuever with the car making it difficult to pass. When the opportunity to pass came again I put the speed of my bike to the test for the first time and I put a couple of miles between them and I for safety's sake. Is there an unwritten rule as to etiquette when it comes to passing a harley or a hells angel?
