Bit late now, I only just got home, but directing her to old mate (can’t remember his name.....), the Dakar racer and his caravan park would have been the go. He no doubt would have looked after her.

She just arrived, at 11.30pm - pushed through 250km in the dark - on a TTR250! End of a 16hr ride - mammoth effort!

Yep - and this morning she & Mrs P headed to the High Country (I get to spend a week in the shed with my dogs: beer for breakfast, no need to shave or make the bed...)
She did see a lot of wildlife last night - and all this with no front brakes and a stock Yamaha headlamp...

Okay - anyone in the Mildura area? 5000km later, the lady has lost the front sprocket retaining nut on her TTR250...
(Hey don't look at me - I just fixed her brakes, and instruments, and lights, and...

Chap at Wynnum West (inner Brisbane) has some (new), rare, Honda Deauville 650 parts that he is selling on Gumtree pretty cheap.
I have messaged him a few times and he point-blank refuses to post them to me in Sydney, even with extra $$ offered. Too busy.
in particular the air filter is like hens teeth and very pricey to ship from OS. The one on my bike looks like original from 2003.
If a kind soul could pick them up for me, pack into a suitable box or bag and send them on I will be grateful. Will EFT the required money before hand.

Keen to take this "Dullsville" on a CCC100 ride Sydney Perth Sydney but maybe a bit longer than 100 hours!

I can help if you haven't got it sorted already. I'm not too far from Wynnum West and I'm in the process of moving house so I've got plenty of boxes and packing stuff. Lets know.

I am hoping to get to South Australia The week after next.
Will be driving with the bike on the back of the ute and need to park the ute somewhere safe for 3 to 4 weeks.
I will be heading north through the Flinders, Innamincka, Haddon Crn and probably into the NT.

So I’m thinking somewhere just south of the Flinders, does anyone have any recommendations please.

Hi a2zworks try Doc at the Peterborough Hotel, heaps of local knowledge and also has the caravan park, so will have some space for the ute.
And the meals are great, the beer cold at the pub.

The Discovery Park in Port Augusta is fairly secure. We used to leave our car and trailer there when off riding. They did charge a daily fee. Camping also went up in price there, so we found it was better to grab a room on our return.
Also, a short walk down to Ian's Western Hotel for a good meal(and beer).

Thanks fellas, I thought I'd try Hawker for a bit closer to the Flinders and got an email straight back, they have an area for exactly that at $5/night bargain!
I've stayed there a few times and they are nice people.
    Thank you for your suggestions.

At the end of this month (August), we are taking 2 trailies down to Kempsey/Bellbrook and doing 4 days of riding. After this, I have to go to Sydney (assuming the lockdown has been lifted) and pick up a DR650.
I can't carry three bikes on the ute so would like to know if there is someone in the Kempsey area with a parking space where I could leave the 2 DR200s for 4/5 days. I'll pick them up on the way back to Lismore.
And yes, can take 3 bikes then, because one can go on the rack on the front of the teardrop camper.

lost your phone number Mick. Can you give it to me again -not that we'll be able to go to kempsey area (now locked down from today) even though lismore has just been released to night
