    Howdy all.

My wife and I are in the planning stage of a trip we're taking in middle June. We're leaving from Texas, are going east and catch the Natchez Trace Parkway at its southern terminus and ride its length. Then ride due east and ride the Blue Ridge Parkway from its southern terminus to its end in Virginia. Then ride into Maine and to Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and then the Trans-Labrador Highway. Then west across Canada to the Rockies and probably the Continental Divide Trail, back to Texas.

Everything is going great in the planning, but I need a good catchy name for trip. Last year we were on the Trans-Am Trail, or TAT, and it rolled off the tongue, and looked good on our web diaries.

For the life of me, I can't come of with a good, descriptive, catchy name for this trip. I figure y'all are way smarter than me.

    Any ideas?

I'm Leaving this week for my trrip throughout Central America. Even though Im not a gambler I am from KY. and went to the track one day out of boredom. IO won a pick Four and $3000. The horse hat won the last race was named Thunder Mission so that was going to be the name of my trip. Then I got to thinkin.... I already have a read whit and Blue steal your face on my bike. You know, The Dead... Anyway I started thinking that might look to someone who has no idea about the Dead that could mean Death From America especially with Thunder Mission attached. So I stripped my bike of stickers and slogans and am going as a representative of myself.

However naming a trip is fun how about

Wake up early in the morning of your departure. Look outside and there will be a sign. Something unusual will happen right before your eyes. That will be the name of your trip. Sort of like some politically incorrect joke about native Americans.

When on the BRP be sure to stop at Tuggles Gap MP 165. There's a hole in the wall diner/bar with the best coconut cream pie in the world.

BTW if your using an old map all the gas stations on the BRP have been removed.

A real neat Tupelo/Cypress swamp just north of Jackson, Ms. on the Trace. Take the walk.
