Most of the population has a Cycle Gear within riding distance at this point. They carry a wider selection than most, and try to keep sizes in stock. If they don't have an item that you want to try on, they will order it in for you without cost or risk for you to try. Also, they price match. I know that this doesn't cover every single person in the CONUS, but it covers a lot. I understand your concern, but the only way to understand fit is to test, and as such, advice from others is of limited usefulness. Now 'limited' isn't the same as 'zero' of course. Advice regarding venting, trouble areas (awful shields, poor manufacturing quality, etc) are certainly useful.
