Canadian semi-noobs heading back to Baja in 2010. During a 2008 trip while heading to Constitucion de 1857 National Park from La Rumorosa we became slightly disoriented :confused and ended up in Tecate (don't ask). DOH!! Looking at Google earth it looks like there are countless turnoffs requiring too many decisions.

We're planning on continuing to Mikes Sky Rancho. Does anyone have a GPS track for this route or perhaps suggestions as to how a bunch of dumbass's can stay on track? :dunno

    BTW, we'll be 'dual sporting'.

    All suggestions appreciated:ear

    Thanks

Hi Hosebag, I saw your post inquiring about La Rumorosa, Laguna Hanson, Aserradero and then to the highway to get to Mike´s .

From La Rumorosa you take the dirt road to Laguna Hanson, follow all the sigs who says" El Topo", we always said take left, left on the forks following the main road.
When you reach laguna Hanson , then next is the Aserradero (Small group of houses and ranchs) follow the same advice .
Then you´ll find a fork who saids Ensenada(left) Ojos Negros (rigth). Take the left road. Some miles ahead you´ll reach thge higway to Valle de la Trinidad, there you can refuel.
From the gas station you can follow the Baja 1000 route to Mike´s it´s very easy this route.

This interpation is correct. But realy realy stay on the most beat down and traveled road. On this route you may pass 20-30 lefts. Get some AAA maps and a GPS with LB Maps. I have been going down thier for a long time and the turns still drive me batty.

Headed down from Charlotte NC to LA for the crawfish festival at the end of April.

Anyone know of a few good rides around Breaux Bridge LA?
