Help with ideas for a motorcycle wireless charger DIY (component overview)

Couple of questions about my setup:

1) How do I waterproof a wireless charger circuit board?
2) Are there small charging pads that will work with my setup?
3) Show me your setup if you got one!


I currently have the following Touratech setup on my KTM 1190:



My goal is to combine a Ram Mount and a wireless charger to hold my iPhoneX which has the following dimensions Height: 5.65 inches (143.6 mm) Width: 2.79 inches (70.9 mm) Depth: 0.30 inch (7.7 mm)

I couldnt find a pad on Amazon that was slim enough and narrow enough for my phone (it cant exceed width and height, and has to be slim), so decided to get a wireless charger circuit board with 2 coils on Aliexpress:

Four characters in the spec makes all the difference IPX6.

Some time in the past few years someone created their own and put a DIY thread on it. I had it saved but unfortunately I deleted recently. Do a search and if you can't find it I'll look for it.

There were 3 threads that I found, a couple had the X-grip DIY. One had an extensive writeup but all his links and pictures are no longer working unfortunately
