Help?

OK, here it goes: my garbage disposal busted a while back, I bought a new one but never had a chance to try and install the darn thing. At the current rate that I'm going at, I'll never get the thing installed. It takes two people to put it in, it's kind of heavy. Anyone know how to do it? I'm still laid up, so I won't be able to get it done myself or even help put it in. If anyone knows how to and is willing to do it, I could use the help. Of course I'll keep a cold beer in front of you during installation, and probably for a while afterwards so we can tell lies about rides.
Anyone?

Is it the same basic size as the one that is dead? Or will there need to be some reconfiguring of the pipes?

I think it's basically the same, might be a little bigger/stronger. ABC plumbing is 1/4 mile from my house if I need to get other parts. I really don't know.

If I was not 1500 miles away I would be glad to help.

I will help; I always just like to know what I am getting into before I agree to anything. If it is basically the same I could do it after work let me know.

Shucksdarn Pilot, you should have talked her into letting you come along. It probably is a piece of cake, I just can't do a whole lot of anything myslef right now.

Assuming you have a dishwasher, don't forget to knock out the plug that the dishwasher drain hose connects to. DAMHIK.
