OK, here it goes: my garbage disposal busted a while back, I bought a new one but never had a chance to try and install the darn thing. At the current rate that I'm going at, I'll never get the thing installed. It takes two people to put it in, it's kind of heavy. Anyone know how to do it? I'm still laid up, so I won't be able to get it done myself or even help put it in. If anyone knows how to and is willing to do it, I could use the help. Of course I'll keep a cold beer in front of you during installation, and probably for a while afterwards so we can tell lies about rides.
    Anyone?

Is it the same basic size as the one that is dead? Or will there need to be some reconfiguring of the pipes?

I think it's basically the same, might be a little bigger/stronger. ABC plumbing is 1/4 mile from my house if I need to get other parts. I really don't know.

I will help; I always just like to know what I am getting into before I agree to anything. If it is basically the same I could do it after work let me know.

They really are a piece of cake to do, Wings. If you have any questions I can answer, PM for my phone number.

ps My SO is in the Springs tomorrow for work. She wouldn't let me go along, or I would do it for you.

I live local and work in the city as well. If Wings or you need a hand just let me know. Normally 24 hours notice is sufficient. I am very handy with tools.
Natalie won't even notice that the orange bike is missing for a few weeks... :huh

Thanks a bunch guys! I kept hoping I'd be in good enough shape to do it myself, but it looks like it'll be a while. I really appreciate your help!

Assuming you have a dishwasher, don't forget to knock out the plug that the dishwasher drain hose connects to. DAMHIK. :bluduh :lol3

I do need to paint. How do I plan a paint party? I have a big BBQ, and most certainly would be happy to feed you.
So Rebecca, how are you with prepping for a paint job? Got plenty of tape :evil
