Yep, folks, that is snow. The temps dropped almost 20 degrees in 15 minutes and the snow is dropping with force. San Juans, Tetons or GNP? Nope... just 45 minutes out of Denver. They say it might even drop a few flurries in Denver/Boulder tonight.

Holy shit.. Actually it has dropped from about 70F today to 46.8 F right now at 7 PM. It's just starting to rain here at 7650'.

Vegas: That bike looks horrible sitting outside. Why not store it in my barn till spring?

Lead Your bike blends in with the snow. You know what that means. You should be able to ride all winter and no one will even notice.

Yeah, the temps dropped pretty drastically today. I was out in a T-shirt cutting and splitting wood most of the day. At 5 o'clock it was 55 degrees out, then the wind kicked in and the rain started flying. Within 15 minutes it was 35 degrees. The picture happened about 5:30. As of now, there's about an inch of snow on the ground and cars.

The bike will make it to an indoor location soon enough. I still have a couple of weeks of riding before it holes up in a garage somewhere.

Speaking of wood... you still have a pile I can load up?

The wood is still here. Not going anywhere except under the snow in about 3-4 weeks.

Yeah, it is chilly here for my morning commute, about 38 degrees this morning. Rained pretty good the las couple days, there's snow on the hills. The passes will be closed (well, to me anyway) before long....hoping to get a couple more day trips in first.
