You wanna REALLY fall in love? Do this loop,,21 road to Lowman, gas up in Idaho City, then,, Banks /Lowman road (17) to Banks, then back to Boise following the river. Lunch and beers in Banks. Watch your speed, they patrol all aspects of this awesome day loop. But if you like curves as much as I do, this is some of the best!
I have done the Banks/Lowman road back and forth many times, it is one of my favorite roads on earth.

And a great tavern/ cafe with an outside wooden decked porch and an awesome horseshoe pit. Me and Fishy stopped there for a break.

    The winds of change,,
riding?,,nothing very far, that's for sure,,I get the bike out, sunshine is out there waiting, then I get my jacket and hat, close the door, start the bike,,and the rain comes in buckets!
Open the door, push the bike back inside, close the door,,,take off the jacket and boots,, go back to watching old westerns on teevee.
Same thing happened when I crawled under the Royota,,got ever thang, truck jacked up, all the parts and some of the wrong tools, cardboard on the ground,,,rain!,,not just a little bit,,real rain! now my cardboard is wet and will dissolve into kindling once it is dry.
    scrap that project for now.
    bicycle,,ride that!

Definitely garage queen: wax spatter from multiple wax jobs, dry chain, low tire pressure, rust on the fork legs above where the seals ride, (bay area) but!

Shiny paint, no damage or even bad scratches, new tires, new sprockets and chain, brakes look new or at least low use, and new battery, tender.

    :deal
