Made a strategic stop at the "packie" so it's full on PUI for this guy~! WooHoo! Wonder how those guys heading for the Jersey dual sport ride are doing? :flush

Psssst, you need a windproof layer over them. A nice windblock fleece always does the trick for me. Over the top of the electrics.

I freelance for an investment bank in Great Falls, VA - I was recently approached by a firm on the left coast that is looking for $1.5M to build a prototype cold fusion system and I hooked them up with Carlyle's energy group. Maybe we can toss your gear in their system!

On a more serious note - are you going to make it to the BBQ next weekend? I live on McLean and if you'd made it to the DC Beltway you would have been more than welcome to pull in here and wait out the storm / spend the night. I was in the garage working on the R60 and I'd have welcomed the company.

Thanks Story- I made it to I-70... going up and over is the easiest way to get to Steves for me. I'm heading to SoCal on monday for training... gotta soak up that 80 degree weather for two weeks.

KRS- I was wearing my Stich over the damned thing...isn't that windproof enough? My old Widder did much better than the Gerbings IIRC~ One or two hot spots and that was it... I wasn't cold- but I wasn't warm either. Strange~

I'd have thought RT 50, around the top of the DC Beltway, and out the Toll Road / Greenway / RT 7 was the way to go, but that disregards traffic. I do a Laurel (near Bobs) to McLean commute in the evenings and it's not too bad.

In any case - I'm going to meet Harvey at the Sheetz at 15/55 at 6:45 or 7:30 - if you want to try for that you'll ride right by my house. Let me know and I can follow you out there.

7:30 it is. Unless I have problems getting the bike to start on tomorrow morning I'll be there.

You NOVA's quit clownin around. Let's ride.

Jabba, one hell of a shot at it, now just rest up and head out in the AM. We'll make a two day'r and hit some WV, or NC TBs to make up for it. Sunday is suppose to be nice. Those electric's will work better in the clear mornin breeze.

    Buy a coffee pot!

    From the weatherbug -

Saturday: Blustery and cold. NW winds 20-25. Highs 43-46.
Sunday: Mostly sunny. Breezy but not as cold. Highs 48-52.

Sunday is starting to sound like a more intelligent non-Advrider day.
