    I always love your ride reports, doubly because you do it on a little bike. Makes me laugh at the tough guys riding gravel roads on cush, big displacement things (in a nice, no offense way)

    I was thinking about the same myself. I mean what can be worse than that. I remember i had a good look at that paved road to leh when we left it and took the offroad trail to spiti valley. Thanks for the comment though, it really boasts the confidence.

    Here's the irony... i had bought pair of brand new off-road waterproof boots and i thought i would wear them on this trip. But i could only wear them in the plains coz i couldnt change the gears and apply brakes wearing those. I didnt want to take chance with them in the mountains.

    Lesson learned : Boots need time to set in.
