    :D Thanks Earl. Utah Rocks.

Found some California rocks yesterday. :clap I fell off my bike more on this 30 feet of trail, than I did in five days of riding in Utah.

This was the down only route. As we struggled with it Ty Davis rides up and said, "you don't have to climb that. This way is much easier." Then he disappeared down the trail.

It wasn't the weekend but there was an unusual amount of traffic in the hi-dez Thursday.

    Nowwhat

Rounded up a crew consisting of,

    Riddler990

    Sito

Vermon was back in the saddle!

and Toast came out to knock down a few Joshua trees too :D

    We did the Primo Loop.

It was a beautiful day....low 70s, no wind, damp trail.

As usual, Willie Boy's got everyone's attention. :evil

Willie was generous today, allowing the first four riders up without incident. The last two up got stopped at the ledge.

Vern's lil' thumper was easy enough to pull up the ledge. Good on ya Sito.

Tony's big ol' 690 was a totally different story. :nono

Plus it was my turn to help, so I "helped" him turn the beast around for a second attempt. :lol3 We all took advantage of this opportunity by taking pictures of us taking pictures of us taking pictures. :huh

The Mighty 690 is geared for 100+ so Tony romped on it this time.

With positive results and cheers from the crowd. :clap

Good time riding with you guys, thanks Riceless for leading us on some fun stuff.

Figuring out the angles of the new helmet cam, from early looks some of the footage really looks good. Pictures will upload later tonight, video tomorrow evening.

The year ending run around some Primo trails. No flats, just a few mechanical stops. Good day of riding washes and single track. Everyone showed up with brand new meat, except for Nowwhat who had just 1 ride on his tire.

    Riceless checking his brakes.

Riddler990 and Vermon, I am trying to take a picture and tell them to turn right at the same time.

The 5 guys minus Toast on a crest, quick break.

Good stuff like this all day!

So this nice guy comes up and poses for the camera, but says my bike is on the trail...............

and provides me and my camera with a shower of sand............OUCH :bluduh that went down my sleeves. At least I got the shot.

We rode this fantastic single track to the top of this hill to take in the beautiful views.

and then finished the day at a fine country bar and BBQ establishment in Pioneertown.
I can say some of the finest riders frequest this location, food was excellent.
    [IMG][IMG]

So every ride leaves us with lessons learned or refined skills. This ride left me with an understanding that my fender bag needs some major re-eningeering and my sand skills got some help. I also got familiar with the GoPro and although I don't like the form factor, I really like the fact that there isn't a cable running to the bag and the lighter weight of the setup is really helping my back. Video coming.
