350-400km touring, depending on throttle
No worries. Send me a pm when you are de-lurgified. I’m on the Shore.
FWIW...650 vstrom....520kms on a full tank of 91. At least that’s what the range number on the display says. I’ve never checked it as while the bike may go that far I have usually processed my pre-ride coffee long before and the system needs a discharge and a recharge, so might as well top up the bike at the same time. So while I like to have it, I’m not sure range is all that important in NZ.
This bike is working its magic on me. I may be hooked. Turns out the clunky gearbox was mostly operator error....who'd have though it????
A mate has offered to lend me his GSA so I can take it out on the gravel for a try. Think its a cam head.
So spent today on my mates GSA. Had no trouble with it. Height was no issue. Good solid bike.
But I would say I missed the lightness of the XChallenge. Hmmmmmmm
Agree. Very, very good, solid bike.
Good luck making your mind up!!
I may have ridden a very low mileage 1250 today
How does it compare to the Connie?
in some ways it's a bit like the Connie and Tenere had a baby...

Nice write up. I’m looking forward to my first really long ride on it this week so it’ll soon be an even higher mileage GS.
Coming from the 650 vstrom the difference in grunt is pretty noticeable.
