Someone else's plumbing or riding. Oh gee, tough choice.....
It will be Sunday am if I make it, but I just warned Blondie that it was in the cards.
Be cool to see ya. Tell Blondie I says hi.
Headed down in a few hours to scout sections.
Ya I am out locating my connection between my parents house and mine. Been sharing the internet for years. Saturday I have a physical at 3pm. No Saturday riding for me.
So... pulled out Mr. Fantic. Did some deferred maintenance. Then thought, "Roswell no kick stand, no bueno." Wouldn't take that long, right?
Well shitey, it took 4 friggin hours of fab and TIG to do it right. The Casita also had a busted toilet from the Holloween deep freeze (record setting in OKie).
Gonetaka shower and get out by 5:30. It's 7+ hours to Roswell Haystack from here. Sigh..LONG night!
OMG it is SO nice to have a well-working kickstand!! Haven't had one for, like, 3 decades on the Fantic
Had a ton of fun at the fun gate trial today! The Fantic was awesome and me... too damned serious. Most folks were cutting up, drinking beer, and riding TY100s at a.million RPM. I envy people who can get silly so easily or abuse each other with such ease.
So let's see if this video link works.
Aha. A link to the folder. There's one video there.
Pretty impressive, I didn't know Lance's Beta rear brake would lock up the wheel.
Hey, that was the state of the art back then. I remember when I got my `89 TR34. It was light years ahead of my TY350.
It just occured to me that after I delivered my critically acclaimed, award-winning Awards Ceremony yesterday that I forgot to take a pic of the scoreboard.
Between the mic and the beer, your plate was full.
Good help is hard to find these days ...
You know damn good and well I hardly need a mic to deliver rider's meeting/awards ceremony speeches!
Okay, two beers.
Thanks to D&D from D2 Trials for the pic!!
Hair of the Dog Trial next month, 28th and 29th, the 1st HPTA Trial of 2020 kiddies!
I believe that is still 2019 o brilliant one.
Just gotta , don't ya @Ditch?
Looked like a good amount of beer was lubricating the handwriting on the scoreboard!
I was thinking the very same thing.......
More likely one of the kids.
