Unless he looked at the licence plate number, he probably wouldn't even know it wasn't his truck... :-)

Outstanding, thanks for sharing. I could only imagine the thrill of firing up that biplane with the wind in your hair.

@Hodakaguy did you relocate your backup camera for use with the camper? Since your work is top-notch, I'd like to copy what you did :lol3

Shhhh! You want him to spend time in his rig exploring the world or you want to see some more sweet welds from the next project?

Ahem. Note these posts were made in March, almost EXACTLY 6 months ago.

I just wish I could afford these things that Hodakaguy casts off. You just can't buy quality like that.

The camper is a Four Wheel Camper, this one is a Swift model. The prices start around 11K and go up from there, they work awesome!

I did, I relocated the camera out of the tailgate to the underside of the camper, I'll have to get some pics of the setup.

I meant from the factory, or, frankly, from most custom builders.

I want this setup bad because of the quality, but at 6'5" I don't fit well in the Tacoma and with three kids the camper isn't big enough. If it were the perfect setup for me I could swing the $ - but while I feel it is quite possibly the perfect setup it isn't the perfect setup for ME.

I want to see Hodokaguy do a Sprinter conversion...
Something similar to the Revel, but better quality. Stainless steel cabinets. LED lighting. 400W solar, burly roof rack...

Is this build over? How come it stopped? Seriously THE best build thread I’ve ever seen.
