Very happy to see this even in prototype form. I was incredibly disappointed with Altas demise and figured it meant we would have a multi-year gap before another high spec dirt electric bike was available. It still may be a gap, but this at least gives me some hope and something to drool over in the meantime.

Im an e-bike enduro dreamer but gotta laugh at this video. HRC didn't exactly get the best test-rider for this video. Dude can't even touch the ground and why isn't he clearing the tiny jumps? Cmon man!
I don't understand Japanese but pretty sure he was asked why he didn't let it rip at least once over the jumps and he mumbled "way too much Honda power on slippery track = bad outcome for this old man!" :jack

He aired it in the middle of the video. :dunno

Strange how quiet it is. Reminds me of when hydroplane boats went from the 12 cyl Merlins to turbines. Kind of killed the sport for a lot of spectators. What the heck are they going to do at SX events? Play music or something?

I've got a little 2" speaker on my electric bike I can play hardley sounds on at the street crossings - doesn't use much electricity

Since there are no "emissions" with electric bikes shouldn't it be fairly cheap to make a street legal version?
