Rolled up to a petrol station at a small town in the hills this morning on the crf. Several enduro KTM crew just finished filling up. One of them asked me if the crf was a rally.

Just sat on the Rally at the Toronto motorcycle show Friday. It looks great! It feels great! Needs bar risers but if it's half as much fun to ride as my XRs it's going to be epic! I can't show any pictures as I look too goofy in everyone of them like a five year old at Christmas!

The guy in the last pic wants one as well. He kept showing up back at the bike every time I went back I saw him there (I went back to it about five times over the course of the day) I have a more pics but I get way too animated in them for a fifty year old man!
It had the North American incandescent turn signals on it but that doesn't bother me. It was not an ABS model. I had toes and almost balls of my feet down but I think the preload is wound right up. I think I would opt for some risers fat bars and HDB Ultimite hand guards and top clamp. I'd let the bash plate be till it's gone then worry about aluminium for a replacement. I'm 5'10" 32 ish inseams wore work boots to check I was comfortable and I was. Totall looking forward to this bike!
We've seen goofier pics on this site. Thanks for sharing. Was anyone able to give you updated delivery dates? Did someone confirm those signals incandescent signals were the one actually showing up on NA bikes or was that just a show bike? Not a big deal to me either, just interested.
I was told by my sales guy who was spot on and never wavered and did not lead me into false hysteria about my Africa Twin the end of March for Canadian GTA dealers. I talked to a couple other sales guys at the show and they are telling people they have heard everything from two weeks to two months so they are not committing to anything concrete.

I generally hate Honda stock ergos always feels like the bars are too low! Doesn't matter to me as that's a preference thing anyway. How did that bulbous front feel between your knees? Will you be able to comfortably get your weight forward?
It says dual front disc but it don't have them
No problem it's not wide at all compared to my 90's XRs or the Africa Twin!
Nice catch on the dual rotor front brake....but if that SRP is $ CAD 6299 for the Rally, that converts to $US4800......hmmmmm....some currency strangeness going on, as ABS Rally is SRP $US 6299
EDIT: Went to Honda canada website...$CAD 6799 for "Standard" Rally, which looks like it is non ABS according to the specs. If US dollar is 1.30 canadian, the non ABS canadian Rally is still cheaper than in the USA non ABS Rally..................
The good deals in Canada seam to be for most bikes and I don't know why.
For instance BMW G310R in USA $4750 USD .................in Canada $5250 CAD = $3990 USD Our price should be $6250 CAD . Good time to by a bike in Canada.
