Hoping the bike will be offered in sevral colours. I definitely wish for an HCR livery like the 1988-89 RD03. So far, I am not very enthusiastic wit the red and black livery.

    Dear America,

You have bitched about the original Africa Twin, the Transalp, and various other 'big trailies' over the last 20+ years, and pondered why they were not imported to the New World.

It's because you continue to buy cruisers, god bless you.

You need to actually pony up and buy this new iteration of the AT. Any further moaning is bullshit, quite frankly.

    It's that simple.

    God bless.

Someone pee in your grown-in-the-USA Wheaties this morning?

While overall US sales of all motorcycles were up in 2014 the segments that led the most were off-road and dual sport bikes. There is hope.

DS and dirt-bikes have always been big sellers in N America.

This is a different thing/theme; this is the big ADV bike thing.

After 8 years on this forum I have seen/read all kinds of pleading to the factories, and then all kinds of excuses why those same people didn't buy the bike.

It is so so simple: buy the bike, just buy the bike.

DS bikes on the US include ADV bikes, they are broken out of street bikes.

    That doesn't invalidate my point.

My point is this: buy the bike.

If this is such a big fucking deal, as it has been over the 8 years I've been on this forum, then I am done with it. And that's fine, tbh, if that's the case.

I'm so sick of the wish-list circle-jerk and 'if you give me this thing, I will buy this bike'.

Because, the evidence is, that the USA does not buy the bike, and then bitches like a muthafucker on ADV about it.

    Geezus :lol3

Ok ... where do I sign up?

I've said for years that when Honda brings a true AT successor to these shores I'd buy one ... so ... now I gotta buy one.

    Sorry, honey.

You're wrong. The 16's were shown to the American Honda dealers on Redline this morning.
