First you say over and over that the bike is going to be a "single", and now you're saying it's not coming to the USA.

Not only was it shown to Honda dealers this morning, with a firm statement there that it would sold in the USA, but it is also the very first thing you see on American Honda Motor Company USA's web site when it loads...

It even has its own web page there, and if you scroll down that page you can even sign up for updates on the US release of the bike...

In other words, it's coming to the USA... And will be shown to the USA dealers in the Fall at their dealer convention, with probably order availability sometime around the first of the year.

I'm going to make another prediction.

Previously I predicted the bike would be the CFR1000, a brand new 1000cc parallel twin motor, coming both in manual and DCT form.

I predict the wet weight of the bike will be around 200Kgs.

I think this is only the start of the adventure line. A 450-750cc is coming in a couple years i predict.

What kinda % do you need for a deposit nowadays?

This is really exciting news. If memory serves several times over the years the Africa Twin was rumored to be entering the US market and the Trans Alp was going to be making a come back. However after several false starts fueled mostly by gossip its now official.

I Would really like to add this bike to the stable but it will be a bit of a reach I am sure. I will just have to see what I got and what is worth plus what Honda will want for the Africa Twin. Maybe with a bit of magic I can make it happen!

I agree. I think it was a tie with the Drangon thread for entertainment value.
