How is the stock windshield working for you guys. Any buffering?
Subscribed! Hoping to eventually pick one of these up!
Love crf250rally! Not coming in spain...
Honda Spain says its coming http://www.honda.es/motorcycles.html
it still has not arrived
Could you tell me if seats are swapable between CRF250 Rally and CRF250L ?
Could you tell me too if dogbone links are exchangeable too between the two bikes ?
I need these info to know if I can lower the Rally with 250L parts.
The seats are the same, the dog bone on the Rally is longer, I don't know technically if you can swap them or not, not sure want you would do on the front to balance the bikes suspension back up, but I guess you can find a solution.
How does this beast compare to the WR250R. For sure better for travel stock. How about the suspension? Is it the same as the standard 250L?
The differences are described on the Honda website.
Thanks for your answer !
Strange that dog bones are longer on the rally. As the bike is higher they should be shorter, that means that suspension system should be different.
Just waiting for some confirmation from my dealer, and I'll go for this bike !
At this webite https://www.bike-parts-honda.com/honda-moto-model-CRF-250-2017.html you can check which part is used at other bikes.
So, to conclude :
- seats are the same
- dogbones are different (lenght should be different) but all other parts around them are the same : dogbone are exchangeable
Good news :)
Thanks. I went to the site but did not see that comparison. I ask as I have ridden both the WR250R and the CRF 250L. It looks like the rally suspension is the same as the 250L. The WR250R is a pretty popular bike to modify for Adventure use and also has a nice aftermarket supply of parts. Oh and a good sized stator.
That is where I am coming from as far as comparisons. I am certain the aftermarket community will grow for the bike but where are they now?
EDIT: I see that there is a big blue kit for the bike so that is very promising as he has a great reputation for the KLX.
Twisted Throttle already has 336 items available for use with the CRF Rally. and if you look for most things available for the 250l on the net will be combatable. So I think the aftermarket is there and will be quick to expand a product line that compliments a bike that is pretty popular in many markets(like this rally is already proving to be)
Cool- Thank you.
The Rally has about an 1" more suspension travel.
Springtime in full swing here in Sweden. The bike starts to loosen up now, what a great machine Honda have made us.
I'm hoping an ABS model is showing up at my dealer this week.
