For clarity, I'm referring to the light within the turn signal housing (same bulb as used by the turn signal), and *not* the low beam from the forward lamp.

So the bulb itself works, but only when signaling.

I understood that. But the switch housing has the wire to the the turn. Signal running light wire to the switch housing so when head lamp is on the turn signal running light gets power to light,,the Honda turn signal has 3 wires. A ground. A turn blink. And one for running lite

Ah, gotcha - will take a peek when the weather clears up a bit - it's not a huge deal for now

That looks like a lot of fun @hookeniggy! Wish it was that warm in Maine right now!! Or I had a teleport to Thailand ;)

Pumped for the next riding season especially now that my Ohlins suspension has arrived. Many thanks to Scott over at Motostuff for hooking me up with an amazing Black Friday deal! Still loving that LED light bar I got from them too. Amazing how much more you can see!!

Now I just gotta wait for the local Honda dealer to finish the warranty work on it so I can install the suspension upgrades. It started leaking oil around a bolt on the front engine mount and Honda has had the dealer running around with talcum powder trying to track it down even though the source seems pretty obvious. Oh well, their problem, not mine. :)

    Hi riders,

Does anybody try to install an IMS fuel tank (black colour) on Honda CRF250Rally graphite colour 2018 model (not red, as it was in 2017)? If yes - could you, please, show the photo - how it looks like? Or how it can be with a natural colour IMS fuel tank?

    Thanx!

Thanks! I'm so excited to be done with the nose dive issue when hitting the front brakes!! And the rear wheel hopping on washboard surfaces... :clap

Definitely take the time to experiment with the adjustments. Set the sag correctly and be prepared to set it softer than you first expected. I have a lot of washboard type terrain around me and I'm 100% satisfied with it right now.

Here’s a pic of mine with a tank bag on. The IMS tank is well made and fits great. I have about a 250 mile range now.

Obvious the artist in this village nearby Lodè on Sardinia used the colours of my Honda Rally in his painting, and Lenin obviously only appreciates Ural motorcycles.

Is the Rally discontinued for NA? Was just looking at Honda's website and don't see it.

Edit: Nevermind...you gotta click on the normal CRF250L first, then it takes you to submodels.

Does anyone know the weight of the IMS tank and the Rally OEM Tank? Is there a difference in weight?

Don't know the weights but the IMS is polypropylene(?) and the OEM tank is steel. Go figure :-) Gotta be lighter, surely!
