Does anyone know how many free watts are available for heated grips/gear on the 450l?

My PM RACKS tail rack took a beating over the course of the 2 days..

This was broken prior to the drop..

They returned my email and are sending out new brackets that are a new design and size..much thicker..

Anybody want an adjustable lowering link for their 450L? I want the factory link back for mine and it didn't come with it.

I rode the Shenandoah 500 this weekend on the CRF and it did great! I ate it a few times. The bars were tweaked right, then left after the last fall. All lowsides at low speeds. Everything else is fine except for a ding on the Yoshi pipe...I hate that it sticks out so far. The AXP radiator guards did their job.

I definitely need new bar mounts, possibly a new bar. How much give do the rubber cones on the mount have? Are they pretty much trash or can I expect to reuse them? I'll take it apart later today but I'm having to replace everything I'm thinking to just upgrade to 1 1/8" bars.

You may be surprised at how not bent they may be. I had an off last year, was sure the bars were bent and maybe the mounts, but after undoing the mounts I found all the twist was in the rubber cones. I straightened them up and back together good as new. I have a brand new handlebar sitting at home I ordered before pulling the original apart..at least I've got spares.

I just mounted a set of Dunlop 606 tires on my new 450X, and then saw these Dunlop 605 tires at the AIM expo. I had not seen them before. The guy working the booth said they were out and available. Knobs are a little closer together, not as tall and he said the rubber compound was harder. Guy said it was a 50/50 tire. Just thought I would pass it along.

Hopefully you aren't the guy I suggested crashing it on the other side to straighten them while we were sitting at a reset on Sunday. Because it sounds like you actually tried that. :lol3

I really did say that to a CRF450L rider - I was at reset 220 going stir crazy waiting for my buddy helping with two busted up riders.
