Haha - well FlipFlop, if I'm not to choose which variant of the coveted 500L I aesthetically prefer, you are welcome to challenge @Scutty to a beach-body throw-down to settle it. I'm sure no one here will judge too hard! (riiiight...)

Loom of doom needs doing, rear safari tank/ rack fabrication + connection to main tank, Ohlins rear shock fitting, chain + sprocket, exhaust finishing + silencer bracket, foot peg mods, decision on front end assembly, engine orientation seems spot-on, it's got the HISS set-up so see which way he wants to go with that one...

Well well well, roll on 2021.... We have swopped location and fabricator for the completion of Bill's CRF500 #6. The same guy that did mine is now taking on completion (...as soon as he buys a new TIG unit, his blew up just before Xmas...). First job is that rear Safari tank then exhaust then airbox/TB link-up.. We'll start a thread in 'Some Assembly Required' as it progresses. Not all is Covid doom n gloom, UK's 3rd CRF500L is GO....... 20201230_122640 (2).jpg

Good luck and looking forward to the progress! Let me know if you need parts, I have boxes full of 250 and 500 bits
