A Kitaco side case has a sight glass built in.

Just found confirmation. The 3rd generation Grom, besides a new replaceable oil filter, does indeedydo come with an oil sight glass window.

I wonder if Honda got their covers from Kitaco as they also have oil filters.

My guess is they want to keep attention on the new Grom this year. Then maybe next year they will put the upgraded engine in one or more of the other 125s. It's the same tactic they used in the past by only introducing one 125 at a time.

I was planning on getting a Trail 125 if they ever get another one in, but now I am leaning toward the new Grom.
Not that they have it in stock either.

I think you are right. The new Grom will be a big hit. An interesting fact I recently read was that the Grom has become American Honda's best selling street bike and has sold over 750,000 units world wide.

Got a new one in at the shop today.

I happen to have a 2014 with 5k miles I've owned since new. It's stock except for a DG mid pipe. I weigh about 230.

A few of the other guys rode it a bit first. Boss said see if it's faster than yours. So I did with about 3 miles on the clock. I think it is faster. I love the 5 speed. I didn't like the constant shift light blinking. Got it up to 60 with a light tailwind. the way back 54. No tuck. I think this is about 2 MPH faster than mine. The 2021 still needs to be broken in.

As for the looks, I like it. It looks much better in person. Black is the color IMO. The seat is still firm, but you can move around on it now like the first gen.

From the couple miles I put on it I like it more than mine.

Engine seems to sound and feel a bit different at idle.

excuse me, I go 2 mph faster if I fart.

That said, I rode a CB125 for about 20,000 km across Canada and back.

Local dealers here have very few bikes in stock and the used bikes have ridiculous price tags on them at dealers.

Cool. Wait, does your Klim suit cost almost as much as your Grom? Just kidding, it will last a lifetime.

My Klim Krios helmet cost me more than my 2014 Honda Forza 300 with 100,000 miles is worth.

    What is my bike worth?

On the other end of the cost spectrum, I have a $75 Amazon-special exhaust system being delivered today. Hopefully I can get it installed and take it for a test ride in the next couple of days. Last weekend I went down to a 14 tooth countershaft sprocket and the improvement was noticeable.
