At WeBike Japan, most of my orders arrive within 7 business days and they have a reward point program. :thumb

Agree. I unsubscribed from the Super Cub thread because every third post was either about the price being stupid, or the conspiracy theorists claiming Honda is limiting supply to drive up demand. Give it a rest.

Could try the Outex model of you are in a hurry to get a pipe.

Love the aftermarket that’s already growing for these bikes! :clap

That's all I want. I don't want noise, I want all that extra weight of the cat gone.

Interesting. Does the FI automatically compensate for the pipe? Or does something else has to be done?

With it mostly just being a CAT delete and not a real performance pipe, I imagine the EFI will be able to compensate for what little actual change in backpressure there is. This has been my experience on slightly modded GROMs.

If you’re swapping the pipe for the purpose/intention of more power, a fuel controller will absolutely be needed.

Maybe everybody that is interested in this Takegawa can get together when it's available again and do a group buy. At $250 it's certainly not expensive and we might get %10 off or more. I noticed in the specs it was 82 dB and was an approved Japanese exhaust.

free shipping? did you buy it on eBay? Next time look at zeedparts.com (they are also on eBay). Website price + shipping is still probably less off their website (was for all the other things I've bought, especially shocks).

I may ride mine 70 miles down to Daytona tonight. Harleys are everywhere going 10 under in the 55 zone. I should easily be able to keep up.

Don’t they have a front rack too?

Yes, bought it on Ebay. Same price as zeedparts using their cheapest shipping option which estimates 30-40 days. It actually ended up being $5 cheaper after using an Ebay coupon.

Yes they do. Maybe will purchase it sometime in the future, but for now I only need a rear rack.

good deal! and uhmmm, always choose the cheapest shipping, iit'll come DHL Express in 4-5 days. The YSS shocks were definitely cheaper going the website route (a lot).

What a fun 158 miles! Bike rode like a champ with my 245 lbs. 4 hours of the throttle pinned to the stop there and back. Worked out as I thought on my way there. Took the beach route A1A south out of St Augustine. Got behind the 15 bike pack of HDs from PA. Drafted them nearly all the way there at the speed limit which in some spots is 55. I will admit, I'm more comfortable on longer trips with my Grom. I put my feet on the rear pegs and it makes tucking easier because my knees aren't directly under me. Can't really get into a good tuck position on the Monkey. A good tuck is worth a good 5 MPH on these little bikes. I did start to get a bit uncomfortable with monkey butt 25 miles from home. Ride back was a lot slower without anyone to draft. In fact, there was no one on A1A when I left Daytona and headed north. I was able to run 51 alone.

On Main Street this little bike was a rock star! So many people were asking me questions. Some already heard of and seen pictures of the Monkey but never in the flesh. Harley dudes were blown away. They never heard of it but they all kept saying it looked like their old z50 that they learned to ride on. People were taking pictures of it. Bikers were pretty amazed when I told them I rode down from St Augustine. From peoples reactions, I think Honda will sell a ton of these bikes.

Damn you got Ohlins in the back already! Is that from the Grom? What about the front?

Ohlins have different P/N for the Grom and Monkey both front and back.

I used about 1/8th of a quart of oil the first 300 miles. Changed it before leaving yesterday. Just checked this morning and it didn't use a drop.

Did I mention that I'm sore as hell today? Too old, overweight, and beat up.
