I don't have this much fun on the SD-R. It's like being 8 years old again. Worth every penny.

Picked up a yellow monkey when I bought my Supercub 125.

@BigCanoe. I am right down the road from you in Sanford. We should get together and put some miles on these monkey bikes.

Don't buy a Super Cub 125 because you will then have to turn around and buy a Monkey 125. Vice a versa as well...you have all be warned :norton

Now back to the regularly scheduled program!

I got mine at Baker motor sports out of Fayetteville. I was going to buy one or other. They gave me a good price on the Supercub and I was joking around asking if they could do a better deal if I bought the monkey as well. Next thing I know I own both.

I am torn on the SC...I really want a CT125 based on this platform. The Super Cub seems to have the same guts it would have.

What type of engine mods are you going to have to do to pull a sidecar. Even with nothing in it that is a lot of weight and wind resistance for the little 125.

    No problem

When I'm done with mine I should be pushing close to 20hp

But I think stock you could putt around pretty good on flat roads

I want to take it to the Childrens hospital and give the kids rides in it...I bet they would like that

The only problem I can see is I may not need my Urals anymore...lol

Wow 20hp. How big of a big bore kit are you going with? I plan to do an Akropovic, chimera intake, and fuel controller. I'm guessing that should get me 10 -12 hp. I love your idea of rides for kids.

I'm still working out the engine and various bits

There's folks out there that have got as high as 29hp on the dyno...cost a bit to get there though

I want more torque and I want to be able to hold 55mph in any condition so I'm pretty sure I can at least double the HP without sacrificing reliability

For example a RMW 125 Super kit with port/polished head...bigger valves and high compression piston will get you 16 rear wheel hp with a pipe and controller

That's impressive for not being a bbk

    $397.00

I'm waiting to see the numbers on the Akrapovic with header compared to the Yoshi
