We spent the last night in Lake Charles and crossed the state line early this morning. Home sweet home!

We rode a total of 1,225 miles and crossed 4 states. We left Cape Coral, FL at 4 pm on Tuesday and we made it home to Houston this Saturday morning at 10 am. I can't possibly express how excited I am. My wife surprised me at the last minute and said she wanted to go with me. We had the best time together. She is so awesome.

Since I didn't ride enough :lol3 I went out to get the state inspection and gassed up. It gave me chance to sample the bike solo and ride it the way I really want to ride it - hard. That DCT is so cool! I bought an NC700X 2 years ago. I bought a manual thinking the DCT might be weird. I couldn't be more wrong. The DCT is amazing! I urge you to give it a try.

The X ADV came with an Akrapovic exhaust. It makes the engine really come out. I love the sound! It's got a really nice growl but it's not obnoxious.

I think that's it for now...

Yes, they do. A few years ago I was riding I-95 through Miami on my way from Key West to click South Carolina off my ride map. I was going 90mph on the Scarabeo 500 and being passed.

Dude! Did you make your wife run ahead of you while driving down the road, then she had to run backwards to get that shot??? :jack

Good looking bike - you may have found "the one." :clap

I wish honda would bring this scooter and the Integra to the states, scooters are cool but remind me of a smowmobile when taking off, the dct would be much nicer than the cvt.

I think she saw an opportunity for her to get me run over and cash in on the insurance :lol3
There was some road work and we were stopped.

I agree 100% with you. Problem is us Americans are driven by performance, engine performance. No one is going to want to buy a $12,000 bike with only 55 HP. Doesn’t matter the bike is fitted with quality components, USD forks, DCT, ABS, radial brakes, etc. People want power first and foremost.

    Can't agree more,
If you like at the numbers the sweet spot for motorcycle manufacturers are right now anything 750cc and below to 500cc. Other than Royal Enfield there's no one in the market and they have only posted great sales number every quarter

I am 6ft tall with a 32" inseam. It's tall bike and a little wide in the seat so I can barely flat foot it.

I'm 6'3" and damn now I need Honda to bring this damn ADV to USofA..
    Why aren't they bringing it?
I mean they have launched it in Thailand, Indonesia, and many other south asian countries where folks aren't that tall and they still ride these beauty. I guess scoot or twist and go is looked down in USA :baldy

I went to the Tax Office first thing in the morning. I paid my taxes and registered the bike. My title will be mailed in 2-3 weeks. They gave me my license plate. I am good to go!

Does Honda USA carry warranty on this, as it came originally from Europe?

The bike currently has 5,150 miles. It has warranty with Honda USA until 01/2020. The previous owner had the recall done by Honda dealer in Florida. I have all the paperwork.
The bike will need an oil change at 8,000 miles (and I’m sure tires!) but that’s about it. It’s very low maintenance.
