Yes I am still making the oil cooler kits.
Best to reach me at my email:
Thanks for looking at my oil cooler kits.
I'm sure he is. You can email him directly or PM him. Best farkle I have ever purchased...besides a heated jacket for my V-storm
I'm sorry for not watching my Vendors thread as often as I should.
For some reason I don't get email notifications all of the time when people post.
I will have to check in here daily.
My apologies to all.
Mark, I just sent paypal payment to you for a Oil Cooler and a emergency repair fitting.
Payment received, thank you so much.
Yesterday I sold my last complete kit. I ran out of cooler cores and I am waiting on a shipment. (ordered 3 weeks ago)
All of the other parts are in stock.
I am also waiting for my vendor to give me a ship date of my cooler core order.
I will have more XR650L oil cooler kits ready to ship soon (I hope). Black and bare aluminum cores should be available if my order is complete.
I will send an email and post here when they arrive. You have my apologies for the delay.
If you wish a refund, I can do that for you as well.
You have my apologies and thanks for your patience.
Read your comment above, so I'm aware of cooler shipments.
Mark, thanks for continuing to manufacture these kits.
The one on my XL600R is still holding up great. I want another one for my XR650L, but with several other projects I just haven't had the spare moola to do it. I hope to get another one soon though, at least before an apocalypse or you stop offering them.
Thanks guys for the kind words and your patience.
I got an estimated delivery date for the coolers.
I should be able to ship in the 2nd week of March.
There is a slim chance they might arrive sooner, fingers crossed.
You have my apologies. I am not at all happy with this, but my hands are tied.
Ride safe out there,
Curious if anyone has tried this on an XR400. I know it already has a small cooler but the extra capacity would be great.
See if a nearby dealer has both stator cover gaskets. You could overlay them to see if the bolt patterns are similar.
I have oil cooler kits ready to ship. Black and bare aluminum cores are in stock.
Thanks for your patience.
Mark, My oil cooler came today and is already installed on my XR650L.
Great looking product and was a breeze to install.
I just installed my oil cooler last night and I had the same challenge with getting that inner hose to not kink. My solution was to lower the beautiful CNC'd hose guide down one inch. I took a little piece of flat aluminum and bolted the hose guide to the bottom of the aluminum piece, and the top half to the XR tank support. It lowered the hose guide by maybe 1", and that's all I needed for a smooth routing.
Has any one found a better way to route the hose as to make access to the spark plug easier, with both hoses running in front of the spark plug cap getting the plug out without pulling the 4 gallon IMS tank seems to be an impossible task.
sic kit whats the wait like right now ?
No wait right now. Kits are ready to ship.
I have a few of the bare aluminum cooler cores in stock and a bunch of the powder-cote black.
I wish that I had a solution for the plug access.
I have to go through the same thing.
Kidding... It is much easier than changing the plugs on my Ford.
I am going to buy some 3/8 tubing and shape it to cross down the same side as the oil cooler, I think I can gain a couple of inches of working room in front of the spark plug.
I will post pictures when I get it done.
Here is what I did to gain a little more access to the spark plug, I reshaped the tubing to cross over to the left side of the bike(same side as oil cooler).
This allowed me to free up a few inches of space between the oil line and spark plug.
