I have alway's washed my air filters in kero and used my wife's hairdryer to dry them. Well, not before we were married, i used my hairdryer.

Well that’s sounds feasible as a hairdresser once told me to not buy shampoo and just use ct18..

When i was young, single, and broke one week, my dirt bike CT18 saw me through in the shower, i figured maccas and red rooster was a better investment till i got paid

That is what I used back in the 80s, girlfriend was always yelling out of the shower 'SHIT PAUL YOU WASHED YOUR BIKE AND TOOK THE SHAMPOO AGAIN DIDN'T YOU, BRING IT BACK'
So I would run to the garage grab it and run back inside, take my clothes off and get in the shower with her, we were only 19 :viking
    WHAT!? too much information?

I'm on my 2nd 20 litre drum of Shell Dobotex Gold. I've got no idea whether it's good or not. I mix it 1:1 with water. Every year or two I just get the full suspension and bearing done and MPE gives me a bill. I have no idea whether I've done the right thing or not. But my bikes are nice and clean!

Not at all, you liked to wash her hair for her, nothing wrong with that.

I washed a bike once - in 1965 I think it was. A 1961 Triumph 650 Trophy. Didn't run for three days. Never again!

Hmmm... stuff I've found locally is often diluted with H2O...
