Just thought I would put this here for discussion.

Personally I can't see the point, 500 or 750 twin could be fun, but at 250cc imho it's not much more than an entry level bike.

When you have a read of their website their mission makes sense - they've seen a opportunity in the market & they are making a bike to suit that clientele.
Suzuki GN 250 Copy motor & frame to their specs keeps the price down, then it seems you have a choice of three seats, two front mudguards, custom colour paint, add knee pads on the tank for the retro models, different bars options & different grips etc - all real easy to customise but their buyer feels like they are getting a great little city bike, (that probably does more posing out the front of the coffee shop than it actually does riding), that they feel they have added their own style choices to. Hey if that's what floats their boat ...

Uh, no - we have LAMS: Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme, which uses a power/weight ratio: some more powerful bikes have a (removeable) power restrictor; my daughter rode her DR650 on her L-plates.

More likely: Start with a $2000 Chinese copy of a Japanese air-cooled single, give it a silly name, some bolt-on bits and an $8000 price tag and you're an overnight millionaire... Brilliant, why didn't I think of that?
Hey, it worked for Deus ex Machina...

Wish this was a bunch closer. Offer a bit less and have 3 of them in the stable.
Anybody near by could grab it and we slowly leaprog it north?

    Cheers Tom R

Who says the DR650 does not change. Suzuki have thrown in a few after market parts to sell some more DR’s. Introducing the new DR650 Tanami edition. Flashy new graphics . :-)

140cc Lifan engine less then 10hrs on this bike. It's a Japanese built bike which is way better then most pitbikes which are Chinese as it's a mono frame. been sitting with a broken stator as I didn't tighten the chain after wearing in and it smashed a piece off but everything else is fine, still has compression n all. I upgraded to a mikuni carby and jetted it as well as a heavy duty chain. There's some random spares to.
