REI has all Swiss Army Knives on a 25% off sale right now. Last minute stocking stuffers. I got a Super Tinker for $25, which is an absolutely stellar deal.

What is REI? And in America? No use in Aus mate - you'd have Buckleys getting a knife through the mail - and at what cost?

I have not bought anything from the US for a couple of years. Due to serious rip off cost in postage. Also stopped using Amazon as well. Every time I use Amazon. A couple weeks later my credit card is hacked.

Sad to say. Anything from the US is a no go for me.

I still use Amazon from the US. I stopped for a while, when the AUD went to shit, but when Amazon au prime started here, I started using it again.
For items listed on Amazon prime vendor, ($6.95 a month membership) it’s free shipping on orders over $49 aud from the US and UK and can be a few items to get to the $49, as long as it’s 1 order.
Some prime stuff is not the cheapest, other Amazon vendors may be cheaper,
but when it includes free shipping it’s a pretty good deal.

Free shipping on any item on Amazon Au, that is listed in prime au.
Amazon Au prime is the quickest post in Oz by far. Some next day delivery.
You do get some random looking dude in a normal car doing the deliveries but it’s super quick.

And you get Amazon prime video as well, that has a surprising amount of motorbike documentaries on it.
Never had a drama with my credit card.

geeze I sound like an Amazon add, but I’ve done a heap of online shopping this year.

Is that the same Amazon owned by Bezos who pays his workers fuck all, doesn't allow them to take a piss and has hired Pinkertons to help stop their attempts at organisation all whilst earning more money then he and his next 7 generations could easily spend?

Yes! That's the bloke - inovative business man

Amazon warehouse worker, died after a heart attack at work. According to his brother, an Amazon human resources representative informed him at the hospital that Billy had lain on the floor for 20 minutes before receiving treatment from Amazon’s internal safety responders.

Jet printed on glass, then paint 'cured' and the glass tempered through a furnace/chiller.
Very expensive process, especially when the panel 'blows-up' in the chiller and the whole process starts again (cut ti size, edges machined/arrissed/polished, print etc.)......

Not sure if 'see through' panels can be done?
Panel usually done for corporate buildings and commercial splashbacks, etc.

    ah. Ok.
    Cheers for that. :thumb

I was wondering if it might have been some sort of modern, hi-tech stained glass window type of thing.
Just random thoughts in my head.
and yep I could imagine it being an expensive process for big sizes.

i cant keep up with today’s tech.
Sometimes I think I must live under a rock.
I’d only not long ago found out they had robot vacuum cleaners.
Seems they have robot lawn mowers as well.
