"Passenger vehicles are already subsidised on the Spirit of Tasmania. The equalisation scheme exists to make the cost of taking a car across Bass Strait is similar to driving the same distance on the national highway network."
Utter, rank, slushy bullshit: the loading on tickets around Xmas is exorbitant; It was literally cheaper for us to fly to Japan and go skiing for two weeks, than it was to take our bikes and go camping in Tassie. Why would you bother?

Same with MotoGP, if you want to fly to Melbourne from Sydney, Hire a car, stay in a Hotel on Phillip Island then watch from a grandstand you can go to Sepang and do it for the same price, and you get a nicer Hotel and at about $40 for a Grandstand ticket (this was a few years ago?) you can buy a couple of tickets in different spots for the weekend, and they're all MAD Rossi fans …. that was before he was on a Petronas Yamaha!

I've been wearing three jumpers and a beanie inside for the last 3 days, with the Conara blazing. I asked the bikes if they wanted to go for a ride and they all said "getphluked..." 52mm of misty rain with fog visibility below 30 metres (and the cnuts in grey cars STILL don't turn on their lights...!)

I’ve watched that series, have less than a 30 inch seam on a good day and not once did I think of that usage..

Not a fan of the spore drive either, that’s just lazy writing..

Presume he will be registering or reregistering the bike at time of sale.
The ad says rego for 12 months to January 22 and that it has a safety certificate. Is a good price if all is correct. Great little bikes that run like a Seiko watch.
