Typical - winter-weight oil on special in summer...
"Passenger vehicles are already subsidised on the Spirit of Tasmania. The equalisation scheme exists to make the cost of taking a car across Bass Strait is similar to driving the same distance on the national highway network."
Utter, rank, slushy bullshit: the loading on tickets around Xmas is exorbitant; It was literally cheaper for us to fly to Japan and go skiing for two weeks, than it was to take our bikes and go camping in Tassie. Why would you bother?
Me and bike, Barcelona to Sardinia overnight, then Sardinia to Genoa overnight.
Just over half the cost Melbourne Tassie return. They’s raping us they is.
we have 'winter' in Australia ?
Not by any serious definitions of the word.
10W-40 will do fine down below -10C
Same with MotoGP, if you want to fly to Melbourne from Sydney, Hire a car, stay in a Hotel on Phillip Island then watch from a grandstand you can go to Sepang and do it for the same price, and you get a nicer Hotel and at about $40 for a Grandstand ticket (this was a few years ago?) you can buy a couple of tickets in different spots for the weekend, and they're all MAD Rossi fans …. that was before he was on a Petronas Yamaha!
I've been wearing three jumpers and a beanie inside for the last 3 days, with the Conara blazing. I asked the bikes if they wanted to go for a ride and they all said "getphluked..." 52mm of misty rain with fog visibility below 30 metres (and the cnuts in grey cars STILL don't turn on their lights...!)
Old people with poor circulation feel the cold more.
I'll take your word for it....
fork - didn't take long.
For the vertically challenged or with long suspension @richo360
@richo360 new boots.
Ha I could do with a pair of those as well.
I’ve watched that series, have less than a 30 inch seam on a good day and not once did I think of that usage..
Not a fan of the spore drive either, that’s just lazy writing..
I’d rather my mates help me pick up my bike, than laugh at me..
cause no ones gonna make fun of a mate in those..
This doesn't seem quite right a 4 year old bike that has only done 75km, also he says it's registered until Feb 2022 but according to Service NSW App it expired Sep 2019 (so would need a Blue Slip?)
if it is all legit he's probably about $2k short of where he should be selling it!?
Presume he will be registering or reregistering the bike at time of sale.
The ad says rego for 12 months to January 22 and that it has a safety certificate. Is a good price if all is correct. Great little bikes that run like a Seiko watch.
DT175 Resto project; almost complete; $1100, Warrandyte, Vic. Nothing to do with me:
