I'm surprised there isn't a forum for PA owners, yet. I suppose the mods are waiting to see if the dealers will Buell the PA. If the dealers won't support it and the sales force won't embrace it, I fear for the future of the PA. I offer this tale, told to me by a colleague.

I just got an anecdotal piece of information that does not bode well for the Pan Am. A colleague's son is a mechanic at a Harley dealership in the northeast. He received a Pan Am to set up. He could not turn the lights off. He tried all the diagnostics and found nothing, so he started a wiring investigation. He found a cut wire in the harness. I'm guessing not everyone at the factory wants to see this bike succeed. On top of that, he (colleague's son) said nobody at the dealership likes the bike. A salesman thought he would show off his riding prowess, turned off all the ride mode stuff and tried to wheelie the bike in the parking lot. No helmet. He probably has never even sat on a 150hp motorcycle before. Ground looped it. Knocked himself out. If this dealership is any indication, aside from factory sabotage, the HD sales force will take no credit for any Pan Ams sold.

I had to search to find this post. There is no PA forum on the first page.

A Pan Am section would be great. Many of the threads are old and go back before the bike hit the streets.
