Life and a screwed up back got in the way a bit, currently in lockdown, here in Jo,burg we aren't allowed out except for essential foods (not booze or cigarettes!) and I found some frayed throttle cables doing some maintenance, yes they can only deliver after lockdown.

Whats with running a car tyre on the back of the 2 GS's ?
I'll give you three reasons:
1. $55 shipped to my doorstep.
2. Triple or quadruple the life of a MC tire.
3. Handle as well as most MC tires for everyday riding (now along will come a bunch of naysayers who will try to dispute having never even seen a Darkside tire in action let alone having ridden on the Darkside )
I agree with the first two reasons. I tried a car tire on a goldwing years ago. I don't agree that it handles as well. It will handle almost as well but you have to force the bike over into the turns. It doesn't just naturally drop in. I never put another car tire on the wing. I hated how it handled. I would never consider one for the gs/gsa. It is a much better cornering bike than the wing and I believe it would affect the handling immensely going by my experience with the wing. To each their own.
I use motorcycle tires on my bicycle.
That's not even remotely considered "Darkside"...;-)
What about using a combine tire on my unicycle.
That's a little like running with scissors...I'm sure your mother told you not to..
Love to see how they handle in the rain - wait, on second thought, forget it.
