O don't even see the upload a pic button, where is it?
Right next to the smiley button.
Been wanting to post some pics from Loosenut ride and have no idea how to do it - think my questions are along the same lines as the OP - hope it is OK. I remember reading somewhere about needing a photo hosting site such as flickr? Is this still needed after the ADV upgrade? I looked at the flickr site and see that it will require a Yahoo account - any that would work with Time Warner RR email? Maybe there is already a thread that I have not found that will walk a computer challenged idjot thru this. Thanks
You do need a hosting site...SmugMug, Flickr, Google Photos and Photobucket are a few of the many to choose from.
Why would you not get an e-mail account from Yahoo?
You could access the account from any computer, anywhere.
Ok - I will look further in to a pic account, as far as Yahoo goes I would like to not have additional email accounts, more passwords that I can't remember
I don't think all hosting sites require you to have a different email account.
You will still have to log in and have a password...so no difference.
Has anyone got this working from google photos?.
Pasting URLs when prompted doesn't seem to work for me
Depends on your device and browser.

OK, I've been trying to post images here and it's not working. I'm using Google Photos and I have a test image saved there. My computer is running Windows 10 and I've tried using Chrome and Windows Edge to post the pick. Still no luck.
Can I buy a clue??
Edit: I think I got it to work. I'm not sure what I did differently, but it worked at least once.
Edit2: I think there is a time delay between the time I post a image to Google Photos and the point at which I can then post that image on ADVRider. I'm not sure if Google has to approve of the image first (make sure it is acceptable or something) or for some other reason.
Looks like you are trying to post a photo from your google mail account.
Actually I tried to post a photo using iCloud photo sharing. It seemed like a reasonable thing to do, so not sure what went wrong. I am trying to figure out a way to post photos without opening up yet another online service.
I thought I had it...more work to do.
Let's see if this works
smugmug, flickr, photobucket, some other? Anyone know which is the cheapest that will work for this site.
Photo bucket is free, but there is a bandwidth limitation. $20 for the pro version with no limits. Smugmug is more expensive by $15 IIRC, but is owned by Baldy, the ADV Site owner, so there is that. I hate flikr for its clunky interface, so no clue about cost.
