OH BOY!!! We filled the limit last year in Payson. This year's event will be AWESOME!! You don't want to miss it!

The Arizona Trail Riders are proud to be hosting the 'Howlin at the Moon' Dual Sport and Adventure Rally as part of the 2010 AMA KTM National Dual Sport Trail Riding and 2010 AMA BMW National Adventure Riding Series. This year the 2-Day event will take place in Prescott Valley, Arizona on October 23-24, 2010 at the Prescott Valley Elks Lodge.

As at our past events ATR has again compiled multiple routes for this event and with A (Expert), B (Intermediate), and C (Novice) routes to choose from, there is something for every rider to enjoy. Arizona's high desert valleys and the rugged Bradshaw Mountains will be your backdrop while your ride historic routes such as the Senator Highway, Trails End Mine Road, and Yankee Doodle Trail. This is an area rich in the history of Arizona's gold mining days and during the rides you will visit old gold mine towns, stage coach stops, and see some of the best scenery Arizona has to offer.

The event is again limited to 200 riders so if you are planning to attend please do not wait to Pre-Register as in 2009 the event sold out. FYI, if for some reason you Pre-Register but then must cancel we will be happy to refund your money based on the following schedule: 100% refund prior to October 10th, 2010 and a 50% refund after October 10th, 2010.

You can Pre-Register online or print and mail-in your entry form.

We have compiled a list of area Hotels and RV camping sites for your convenience however there are no special rates for this event. The towns of Prescott Valley and Prescott adjourn each other so no matter where you stay you should be no more than 15 minutes from the event headquarters, the Prescott Valley Elks Lodge.

Looking forward to this one! :clap Perfect time of year for this...last year's event was super-cool, lots of good folks and challenging terrain and while this is on the opposite side of the state, it won't be any different.

Can they recreate "The Hill"? That bastard cost me 4 weeks of knee rehab and the decision to buy a 450 to add to the collection. Much easier lifting a 450 off of you versus a 950. See ya there!

I can neither confirm nor deny if the Bradshaw Trail will or will not be included in Saturdays "A" hero section. :D

That' 2 requests so far for 'The Hill", I'm sure we can accomodate you guys with something on this years route.

Then again, does it have to be a hill?

    How 'bout a boulder garden?
    Or creek crossing?
    Down trees?
    Locusts?
    Belly Dancers?
    Pissed off retirees?
    Hell's Angels?
    Paparazzi?
    Miles of endless sand?

Give us some help here, I'm sure we can come up with something. :eek1

Pissed off retirees? That's everyone here in Tucson! I want belly dancers!

Boulders? Real ones? I think I want something slightly easier. Baby heads?
