Any KLR'ers out there interested in doing the doohickey upgrade this Winter. I just bought a new A19 recently and plan on replacing mine sometime this Winter. I have the necessary tools--but no garage space....I've been through the procedure once on my old A13.

I did mine, you can work on it at my place but its kinda far from you. I have an extra set of gaskets for the 650 if you want em incase you tear one pulling it apart.
I also have the tools and stuff.

congrats on the purchase, selling the dr650?

Joe-You need to buy another KLR so you can do-the-DOO again. Yes I have the DR650 for sale. It's back to stock other a tail-rack and skid plate. It really feels light now with the Corbin and 5 gallon tank removed.

I'm looking to get about $2900 for it...

Sorry to hear about you re-injuring your leg. I know you love to ride and that SUCKS!! Just try to be patient--good luck!

Just registered, and interested in doohickey upgrade this winter. I have and 05 and a brother with an 04, both would like to get this done before serious riding begins again. I have garage space as well.

    Keep me posted.
