Sorry to notice that you have to give up on 3rd stage. Be proud that you tried to complete your dream most of us only dream behind the computer.

A lot of Swedes have been watching your progress in a swedish thread about Dakar.

Garry, you must be devastated, but I think you did fantastically well under the circumstances. :clap :clap :clap

Would there be anything you would change on this beaut of a bike?

Im keen to start rallying, perhaps in Oz, would you be able to tell me what this machine cost?

You gave it your all Garry and it was great to watch you and that super cool Husaberg in the 3 tough stages. It takes a huge effort and willpower to even start the Dakar and you were there. Well done! :bow

A lot of us in the USA have been following your exploits and rooting for you...

Gary, always remember, simply *getting* to the Dakar and starting is a *huge* accomplishment. Completing several stages is even cooler.

We know you wanted to accomplish more.
But you impressed the hell out of all of us and we are very proud of you and your team.

    Good job, mate! E-Ticket :clap

If you've ever wondered what it would be like as a "regular guy" to enter Dakar, here's your reality check. Garry Connell rings in with a brutally honest look at what it's like. :bow

Don't take this the wrong way, Garry, but I love you, man. Thanks for letting us along for the ride.
