When I wanted to order a 2019 701 I heard it has been sold out for several months and a new 2020 version would is coming in September. There's also a 790 twin coming BTW.

    - Is there any info available on what we can expect ?
    - I suppose it will (I hope it doesn't) get the electronics package the new 690 has ?
    - Any aesthetic changes ?
    - Different specifications ?

Word on the street is to wait for the 2020. Lots of upgrades. I’m waiting on a FE501 with traction control here in the states. My dealer told me late July for the 1st one.

I am 99% certain the 2020 701 will contain the 690s current electronics package.

The Husqvarna is supposed to be their upcharge model. A higher end 690 if you will. I'm sure in addition to the current 690 electronics package, there will be more upgrades too.

    There’s a 13k reply 790 thread here at ADV

The 790’s have been for sale in USA for about a month now. All R models were pre-sold, while S models are still available.

That's the KTM 790, not the Husqvarna 790 I was referring to.

Anyone happened to come across more info?
I'm looking at picking up a 701 for next season and building it into a light adv. The dealer here in sweden that i spoke to a few weeks back didn't know much sadly. He said that they did not expect too many changes.

I have a link saved just for that search and use it often. I haven't seen any news since last year. Please post up if you seen something. At this point I'm looking forward to an announcement at the EICMA show in November.

Anybody found any more info on 2020, there is no owners manual on the husky webpage on the 701 or any big enduro for 2020, it stops with the 350 and 450.

I was told that 701 MY2020 will be presented on EICMA at the end of this month. Supposedly two models of enduro - maybe enduro and Rally.

ECIMA starts next Tuesday. I’m looking forward to news on the 701 and 801. Next week could be a good one.

A few days ago a video and pics dropped with a couple of bikes that is speculated to be a "901" series. With rumors about the 890 from KTM i guess both 901 and 801 could be feasible.
In the video it seems like they are testing a "naked"-ish svart/vitpilen pavement oriented model with the tank bulge on the first and last bike entering the roundabout in the end of the video and a more adventure-focused model with windscreen coming in the middle.
In the spy shot photo gallery it seems to be taken on another occation considering the fairing instead of the windscreen in the video. In those pictures it also seems to feature 790 adventure style low slung tanks as well, but it is as mule so a lot could change.

Next week will be interesting for sure
