Interesting. What brakes do you have on it?

Update on my 15 tooth sprocket conversion. The stock case guard would not fit without trimming. I ended up ordering a Zeta case guard:

    https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle...dium=email&utm_source=RevZilla&sku_id=1784920

This fit but with the tiniest bit of chain rubbing on the guard. The guard is aluminum. I decided to do a short test ride and the chain wore a very small amount into the guard but now no rubbing. So yeah it works just barely.

The higher gearing is great for me as I do not do technical enough riding to require the stock gearing, and now the engine is a bit better suited for the occasional highway run.

could you share a picture? and did you keep the rear sprocket stock?

My 501 could also use some longer legs

Those would be BRAKTEC , it’s just two small clips positions that’s the issue.

Ramp redo as it’s tween time:) I ride up my trifold into the bed for 7 years, laughing at the guys that push and pull and stand on a milk crate to load. Get a 3 tri and ride that Mother into you bed like you can ride:)))) Tween time means it’s raining and not enough snow to sled yet:)))

Getting close to the end of the riding season around here… sad. Hope I can squeeze at least one more in before the snow and cold are here to stay.

Ended up buying a new tow rig haha.

My bike is a 2020 FE 501s. I kept the stock rear sprocket and just went from 14 to 15 teeth on the front sprocket. Yes, I know I need to clean my chain:)

441 hours on a 350! Holy crap! Pretty amazing.

What model year is your bike?

Has it had any rebuilds or other major work on the motor?

I'm getting up to about 280 hours on my 2015 FE350s and I'm wondering how much longer I can go before it will need significant engine work.
